  • Have you cleaned it, in addition to the regular dish cleaning? Dishwashers need a good cleaning too. The cleaner it is, the better it will work. To remove stains, sprinkle instant powdered orange or lemon breakfast drink on them. Let stand for about an hour. Wipe off.

Easy Cinnamon Butter

  • Spread this yummy mixture on toast or rolls: 1/2 pound of butter or margarine, 3 tablespoons of cinnamon and 1/2 pound of confectioners' sugar. Mix well and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

  • Read the care label first! Soak the garment in cold water and then hand wash in warm soapy water and rinse. If the stain is still there (chocolate ice cream), sponge the stained area with cleaning fluid/spot remover. After the stain is removed, launder as you normally do.

  • Put them in the washer again by themselves, and use the high-water level. Add regular amount of detergent to the hot water, along with 1 cup of ammonia in the rinse cycle. Put them into the dryer ASAP. You may have to repeat this several times to get rid of the smell.

How to Remove Window Decals

  • Apply a couple of coats of vinegar on them and let soak for several minutes. Wash off. If this doesn't work, squirt a petroleum-based prewash spray on the decal, soak and pull off.
