Needle Rusty?

• To clean it, simply push the needle through a soap-filled steel-wool pad several times. This should do the job and you can use again. If not, buy a new package.

Computer Keyboard Dirty?

• Shut computer off and disconnect keyboard. Turn the keyboard upside down and shake carefully to dislodge crumbs in between the keys. Then use the brush attachment of the vacuum to suck out any remaining bits. Use a small, soft, clean make-up brush for additional dusting. If keys are sticky, a lightly dampened cloth can remove the surface grime. Let dry before reconnecting to the computer.

Getting Down/Feather Comforters Ready For Use

• If they have been stored and gotten a musty odor, just put them into the dryer (turned to the air cycle) with a fabric-softener sheet and a tennis ball or two for several minutes. The smell should be gone.

Need More Storage Space in the Bedroom?

• Buy flat or rolling plastic or cardboard containers that can slide under the bed; fill them with out-of-season linens or clothes. Keep extra blankets and sheets under the mattress.

How Long Can You Store Condensed Milk?

• Unopened it can be stored for 15 months. However, once you open it, it has to be refrigerated and should last for about one week in the original can.
